Hannelore Knuts, born on November 4th, 1977, is a well-known
Belgian actress and fashion model. She started her modeling career in the late
90s and quickly gained recognition for her talent. In fact, Vanity Fair reports
that she was spotted at the Antwerp train station and soon after, she started
modeling for prominent brands such as Branquinho, Simons, Gucci, and Chanel.
Her stunning beauty has graced the cover of Vogue magazine
on seven occasions, with five appearances on the Italian edition and one each
on the South Korean and Japanese editions. In her film career, Knuts has
starred in projects such as Nicolas Provost's The Invader and played the lead
role of David Bowie in the Radio Soulwax production Dave.
Aside from acting and modeling, Hannelore is also known for her artistic collaborations. She was part of a project in 2011 where video artists applied 365 layers of makeup to her face, and served as the model for the painting The Angel by Michaël Borremans. In 2013, she curated an exhibition titled "UltraMegaLore" at the Modemuseum Hasselt, showcasing her achievements as an actress and model.
