Maitland Ward began acting when she was just 15, but claims that Hollywood is more degrading than her experience with porn.
The ex-Disney star who is 43 years old, started acting when she was just 15 and was cast as Rachel McGuire in the family friendly sitcom in 1998.
The show launched her towards international fame, but not happiness.
Maitland claims that she felt limited by Hollywood, which she says is “degrading” to women over 35.
Now, as a popular adult performer, the American babe feels celebrated and confident in her sexuality.
In an interview to Daily Star Online, Maitland said: “Mainstream Hollywood became limiting and boring for me.
“I didn’t want my only options to be playing the soccer mom on a sitcom or living solely off a role I played in my youth.
“It was a wonderful role, don’t get me wrong, but, I had so much more to show and give and Hollywood just wouldn’t allow any of that to be seen...
“Hollywood is degrading to women over 35. Unless you are Jennifer Aniston or someone else uber famous, they don’t want to see you as sexy or erotic."
“I was told by a publicist to stop putting up sexy pictures on Instagram, because it’ll cost me jobs.
“He said if they want sexy, they’ll pick a 25 year old – I didn’t listen to him.”
After pulling away from Hollywood, Maitland moved to New York to study and write.
There she discovered she was interested in “erotic content” and her own sexuality.
Maitland told Daily Star Online: “I wanted to explore and test my boundaries.
“I expressed a lot of this through social media and he fact that Rachel from ‘Boy Meets World’ was doing this made it all the more interesting.
“I get a lot of people saying that I’ve made their teenage fantasies come true.
“It’s really cool to think that you’ve been someone’s sexual crush for over 20 years and now they can watch my scenes and have my Fleshlight vagina on their nightstand.”
Maitland was approached by Vixen Media Group after filming her own content for a long time.
They gave her the opportunity to film porn with “a script and story” which she loves.
